Rhinoplasty in Lima

Your nose should still look like yours, not someone else’s

When I plan rhinoplasty, the first thing I assess is not what to remove or change. It is your structure, skin, breathing and how your nose relates to the rest of your face. The plan starts there, not from an ideal shape that does not exist.

Rhinoplasty

Individual diagnosis as the foundation of the surgical plan

The nose is the central structure of the middle third of the face, and changing it directly affects the proportions of the whole face. Dr. Ricardo Cruz’s approach starts with a complete morphological analysis: skin type, structural support, nasolabial angle, tip projection and the relationship with the chin and brow line.

Depending on the evaluation, the plan may include preservation, ultrasonic technology, structural support or functional correction. The goal is not a template nose, but one that is harmonious, functional and coherent with your face.

Personalized evaluation

Before talking about surgery, I need to understand your anatomy

During the evaluation, I review facial proportions, the nasal dorsum, tip, breathing and medical history. Only with that complete diagnosis can I explain what is possible, what is realistic and what may look natural in your case.

Work process

Preservation rhinoplasty: naturalness that evolves

The plan may include preservation, ultrasonic technology, structural support or functional correction according to the evaluation. The aim is a harmonious, functional nose that remains consistent with your face.

Rhinoplasty evaluation appointment

Personalized evaluation

The first step is reviewing your complete case: bone and cartilage structure, skin thickness, facial proportions and breathing. Without that diagnosis, no specific indication can be made.

About the specialist

A direct evaluation with Dr. Ricardo Cruz

Before discussing techniques or results, I need to understand what concerns you, what you want to improve and what you expect from the process. Only then can I assess whether surgery is appropriate and what may be achieved in your specific case.

My work does not end in the operating room. Accompanying recovery is part of the process because changes continue to settle over the months. Each follow-up visit helps confirm that recovery is progressing as planned.

  • I assess each case individually before defining a plan.
  • I focus on preserving naturalness, facial harmony and your identity.
  • I accompany you throughout the post-operative process, not only during surgery.

Ultrasonic preservation rhinoplasty

Precision to preserve, harmonize and respect your nasal anatomy

Ultrasonic preservation rhinoplasty may allow work on the nose with greater precision, protecting key structures and reducing tissue trauma when the case allows it.

The approach combines anatomical planning, ultrasonic technology and functional criteria to achieve a harmonious, natural result consistent with your face, without overlooking breathing.

Results

Changes are not measured the next day. They are measured over time.

A well-planned rhinoplasty evolves progressively. Swelling decreases gradually and tissues continue their natural process. Post-operative follow-up is therefore a fundamental part of treatment.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions before rhinoplasty

The consultation addresses the questions specific to your case; these answers help you prepare for that evaluation.

What do you review during the evaluation?

I assess facial proportions, the bony and cartilaginous structure of the nose, skin thickness, breathing and medical or surgical history. With that information, I can explain whether surgery is appropriate and which changes are possible and realistic.

Can I achieve a natural result?

Naturalness is the goal of every plan. It does not mean the change will not be noticeable; it means that the nose integrates harmoniously with the face.

Can I bring reference photos?

Yes. They help explain what you like and the aesthetic direction you are looking for, but the plan is not made by copying another nose.

What is recovery like?

It depends on the procedure and how your tissues heal. During the consultation, we discuss expected timing, specific care and follow-up.

Can rhinoplasty also improve breathing?

When the evaluation identifies functional changes such as septal deviation or valve collapse, that correction may be included in the same surgical plan when indicated.
